Meet your 2025 Board of Directors

Megan, Drew, & their three children (Jaxon, Emmett, and Riley) live on a small farm with chickens, goats and pigs in Greenville Indiana. Megan was raised competing through the Appaloosa Horse Club running mainly barrels & poles. Their rodeo journey started three years ago and has been an absolute blessing to their family. Along with staying busy with all things horses they also participate in 4-H, football, and gymnastics.
Megan is excited to start the year and she looks forward to watching every kid improve their skillset!

Tonya McLoed has lived in Columbus, Indiana for almost 30 years. She enjoys being with her family, horses, mountains, and basically anything outside. She thanks you for the opportunity to serve SIJRA. Her son was in SIJRA for 10 years and they think it's the best! If she could eat only one food for the rest of her life, it'd be ice cream. Her first horse's name was Penny and her favorite place to be is in Montana on a sunny day. See you at the rodeo grounds!

Jon Pankey has been married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley, for 20 years! They both wanted 4 children but settled for 5. Ages 16-5 with 3 girls and 2 boys. They have built their home in Orange County on a family farm near Paoli. Friends of theirs had told them about SIJRA as they noticed Jon & Ashley's oldest daughters love of horses and rodeo growing. Their first season with SIJRA was in 2019 and they fell in love with the large arena, level of horsemanship, respect from the young people involved, the welcoming rodeo families and the community. Jon says: "the goal of my family and I are the same this year as it was in our second, third, fourth, and fifth season: to further our knowledge of rodeo and horses, try to fill a role of a great family that may have aged out or had to step away, and stand ready to welcome the next group of great families that decide to come and rodeo with the Southern Indiana Junior Rodeo Association!"
